Why Poison Race? Well actually the name was created through a train of thought. First off I thought about making icons and just how fun it can be and then for some it become sort of like an obsession almost like a poison. Then I thought of how much people rush their work or try and put out a lot at once and it reminded me of a race. Thus, Poison Race.

Why an avatar base only site? Unfortunately for me, my graphic skills really aren't all that impressive compared to some. Through trying desperately to find graphics I'm good at, I noticed with all my icon practice that every last one of my bases were wonderful. Top quality! Thus, I put my heart into making this simple resource for icon makers who just don't want to go through having to find a certain image.

Do I have to credit? Yes. Any form of credit is just fine just as long as you put up my credit somewhere =/ I work hard on these and I want to see this site flock in icon makers from all over the world some day!

I'm pretty good at making bases myself, would I be able to submit my work? I was actually contemplating this question really hard and decided that perhaps sometime in the future I may open up this possibility. I want this site to be high quality only and sometimes people's bases just don't meet standard. If I open this option, I will be very strict about which I select.

Can I make requests? That's what the suggestion box is for! I want to know what you people want to see on this site. You can make as many suggestions as you wish: I don't consider that spam.

Your bases are so plain. Why not spice them up with brushes/textures? The bases here are meant to be plain but of high quality. The fact that there has been nothing done to spice up the image leaves the icon maker endless possibilities and not having to disown an image because of various reasons.

I'd like to use some of these images for (insert reason). How come you don't site your resources? I don't simply because these bases are made from pictures all over the world and to site every last website that I've used an image from would be just too much. Browse around and see everyone's work: it's really quite beautiful.
